Chania Crete

The smells of jasmine with the red color of the bougainvillea and the blue sea and sky, compose the image of the magnificent city of Chania in Western Crete.

The picturesque city of Chania is built on the ruins of ancient Kydonia, a significant Minoan city.
Rich in history and natural beauty, keep the nobility and the elements that compose this unsurpassable magic.

Byzantines, Arabs, Venetians, Ottomans, dominated the region. The Old Town, buildings, and monuments, are a clear proof of its rich history.
What makes Chania a unique destination is that in addition to its history and cultural heritage features, the entire prefecture, offers unrivaled natural beauty. The White Mountains, gorges and the many gorges of unique beauty, the endless blue of the Cretan and Libyan Sea, with its unique sea “areas”, magnetize every visitor to this region.
Chania is now one of the most popular tourist destinations with good tourist infrastructure.
